It is a mistake to assume that todays students are technologically literate just because they seem comfortable with computers. Technology literacy, like all literacies, is a continuum of skills that can always be improved. Every student should have frequent opportunities to use technological tools to create their own information artifacts -- in print, on the screen, and online.
